 The
Music School “Armonia” was founded in 1997 and is a music institute
accredited and supervised by the Ministry of Culture, and is
equivalent to similar music institutes in Greece and abroad. The
School is an institution of public law of the Municipality of Vathi.
“Armonia” operates the following departments:
- Piano
- Accordion
- Singing (classical and popular)
- Bouzouki
- Classical Guitar
- Zither
- Keyboard
- Music and Movement (Orff)
- History of Music
- Music Theory
- Instrumental Literature
- Solfege
- Morphology
- Harmony
- Harmony
- Fugue
- Counterpoint
The School also prepares its students for the entrance exams to the
Music Departments of the University.
| The Administrative Board of “Armonia” has five members
appointed by the Governing Board. The Artistic Director is the
piano instructor and performer Mrs. Elisabeth Linardaki-Palamari.
The School has ten experienced and Certified music instructors. |

The Music School is the only school for musical
education in the Municipality of Vathi that provides official and all-round
musical education. During the few years of its operation it has
contributed to the promotion of musical education, has produced a
significant number of talented students and has achieved a number of
Panhellenic awards as well as admission of several students to the
Music Departments of the University and has awarded excellent degrees.
Finally, the annual concerts organised by the School are a major
musical event in our town.
